I am sure everyone will be really pleased to know that Ixworth Village Hall will be reopening for bookings as of Mon 10th August 2020.
Just prior to the hall reopening we will organise a deep clean and implement a strict cleaning regime around all bookings going forward.
If you are planning to begin classes again for your group or make a booking for a special occasion, or anything else. Please contact Alf the booking clerk (07935 950223) to confirm your future needs, dates and times.
We have taken the official guidance on board and need to ask all hirers for a copy of their risk assessments prior to their first booking, (these need to be sent to Alf the booking clerk) and that all current social distance guidance is adhered to. This is the responsibility of the hirer. Please can you ensure you provide your risk assessment in good time before your booking commences, thank you
I’m sure you will have planned for alcohol gels etc but all soaps in toilets and the kitchen have been changed to antibac and these are accompanied by gel.
The library is only open for click and collect, through the side door in the library room, at the moment and the staff have their gel regime sorted, no borrowers come into the hall.
We will put a sign on the doors saying that none should enter unless attending a Booking, toilets are for hirers use only, and would advise if practical locking the front door whilst using the hall or otherwise station someone at the door
The fire exits can be used whenever you need to, however these must be secured before leaving as we have had uninvited guests in the past when they have been missed historically.
There is an extra gel in the hall entrance area, just as an extra.
We hope you’ll be happy with the above and we look forward to having you back or welcoming you for the first time.
If you have any questions please contact Alf the booking clerk in the first instance
